Hello guys,

My name is Christopher, my friends call me Moore (my surname).

I am probably not the most active chatter, but i am always doing something behind the scenes, and you can most likely always get hold of me, providing your doing it for the correct timezone.
I live in Denmark so my timezone is GMT+1

What do i do ?

Most of my time in front of the computer is spent on doing some php programming, mainly doing work for our future website and the BNC service planned.
This is a huge project, so a lot of my time is used on it, and not chatting, but it does not mean that i am not interested in Alphachat

I guess thats about it for now, i'll update it later when i have the time, currently at college

And once more, hello! I'm CJ, relatively new to AlphaChat, though I know a few of you and recognize even more names from various other Networks. I'm 21 years old and an active Student studying in Southern California. That's probably the most interesting thing about me to note besides the fact that I've chosen a presumed white Lego cube as my post icon because after all, what child of the 90's didn't love Lego's? Looking forward to getting more familiar with the Network!

Hey all,

Just noticed that AlphaChat has a forum and decided to register. Nothing much to say about myself, my name is Ahmed Jebara, known as AirportsFan or bscorp24, and in some arabian IRC servers as Syria_Freedom. From Syria and live in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

I'm 18 years old, and will be soon 19 (January 21st, 1993), and I'm studying in Al-Ain university of Science and Technology, for B.Sc. in Network and Communications Engineering. I'm still in my 2nd academic year.

I like programming, repairing PC. Right now I'm advanced programmer in some old Visual Basic versions (6.0) and DOS versions, and willing to learn more programming languages to create solutions.

Hi,

I'm Matthew. I'm one of the 3 AlphaChat owners. I've been staff on AlphaChat since it started, though I didn't become an Owner until later on. I usually do behind-the-scenes work in services and other cool things we offer. Unlike Joah, I very rarely break things. As far as programming Perl is my main language, though I know a lot of PHP and python, and I have a basic knowledge of ruby and C. You may have noticed Dafney and Stats, both of those are things I wrote. Anyway, that's my introduction, not much more to say.

Hello. I'm Stephen 'sevoxx','Steve' Lake. I am 23 years of age in 4 days (12 December 1988) and I'm amazingly tall (6'8"). I am situated in Southern Africa, Western Cape, Cape Town (GMT +2) - Yes we do have electricity and minimal wild life in our gardens. I started using IRC at a young age for a South African gaming community and have been developing all kinds of crap for and similar to it since a few years after that.

Network Crash/Downtime

Earlier today, all servers except for Game-Proz crashed due to me unloading the m_nationalchars.so module. This was done because that module and Atheme conflicted, allowing an exploit in which you can kill a user using a nick with "{" or "}" in it by using the same nick, replacing the aforementioned with "[" or "]," and vice versa. This has now been fixed. Please report any further issues to myself, Joah.
